After a disastrous haircut in a town hairdressers, it was a relief to find Fiona, who came recommended by two friends.
The salon is lovely, Fiona is an excellent hairdresser who really listens and understood how best to cut my hair.
After two visits my hair is now in  excellent shape, is easy to care for and I love how it looks.
I'm proud of my hair once more.
UPDATE: Wow! I've been looking for someone to care for my natural nails and deal with unruly cuticles. I had my nails done today in the salon and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Fiona did a great job and I now have a plan to care for them in between visits.  Thanks 🧡

Makes you feel very relaxed and also follows up to make sure you’re happy. Never had this with any other salon I’ve used.
Very attentive and love my new hairstyle.

I had an emergency apt today! As always Fiona goes above and beyond making sure I don’t walk around looking like an orange ! Colour correction and a good telling off to stay away from those box dyes sherrie and trust the process 😂! The apprentice Rihanna did my hair, such a lovely girl the best hair washer/massager ever that I’d defo employ her just for them skills never mind anything else! She gave me a big chop, it was done exactly how I wanted beating in mind of my hair texture etc, the consultation was very in depth. Fiona was there also for any help if needed, also a lovely person to meet. The salon was very relaxed chilled vibes with good banter which is exactly my cup of tea. I honestly don’t know how to find the words to thank this incredibly special lady. ❤️

It was a Sunday, when most hairdressers wouldn’t normally be working, but after I put a post on social media asking for help, she saw it and responded so quickly. She didn’t hesitate. She went above and beyond to help my daughter when we really needed someone.

But what happened today was about so much more than hair.

She welcomed us into her world, openly shared her own life experiences, talked with us honestly and made us feel completely comfortable and accepted. There was no judgement, no awkwardness — just genuine kindness and understanding.

And then she gave Elizabeth something incredibly important — a voice.

Elizabeth stood in front of the mirror and explained exactly how she wanted her hair to look. She chose how she wanted her fringe, her sides and her back. This wasn’t a pixie cut chosen for her by somebody else.

This was Elizabeth’s cut. Elizabeth’s choice. Elizabeth’s own little look. ❤️

And this amazing lady listened. She understood what Elizabeth was asking for and brought her vision to life.

The result is absolutely beautiful. But what made me emotional was watching Elizabeth look in the mirror and see herself again — not what had happened, not the difficult day she’d been having, but her own unique style and personality looking right back at her.

I will never forget that this lovely lady gave up her Sunday, opened her doors to us and gave us so much more than a haircut. She gave my daughter kindness, dignity, confidence and a safe space when she needed it most.

You probably don’t realise just how much you did for us today.

Thank you for welcoming us into your world, for sharing a little of yourself with us, for listening to Elizabeth and, most of all, for allowing her to be completely herself.

This is Elizabeth’s own look. Her own choice. Her own little bit of individuality. Her own “Lilly look”. ❤️

My first visit at Davidson Miller, I went, not knowing what to do with my existing short hair. Fiona tried to draw out of me what I wanted, which was difficult because I didn't know what could be achieved with my hair type. As in a previous review, Fiona talked me through what cut she believed would suit my face shape and hair texture. The final outcome far exceeded my expectations. My son is 11 and said ‘mum no wonder Fiona has so many awards this is so comforting like I feel at home and I barely know anyone but I feel like I do’
That speaks volumes as he’s a very reserved child in unfamiliar environments.
